For as long as I can remember, I have loved finding great food. It started small, like looking for the best cheese burger in my town, and then i began searching for those amazing little restaurants hidden in busy cities.
The best part was not just how the food tasted, but finding something truly special, that moment you realise you have found a real treasure.
When we talk about special food, two words always come up: Michelin Stars. These awards are more than just a rating, they show a restaurant has amazing food, where every dish is perfect and every meal is something you will never forget. A three Michelin Star means the food is so good, its worth making a special trip just to eat there.
So, of course my food adventures, have made me dream of eating at the very best places. This means exploring the world of 3 Michelin Star restaurant. While i havent visited all of them yet, here’s a look at some of the incredible places in the USA that have won this top award.

First up, Alinea in Chicago. Eating here is not just a meal, its like watching a show, with food thats like edible art. Chef Grant Achatz is a true genius, always trying new things.
Then there’s per Se in New York City. this is Chef Thomas Keller’s amazing restaurant on the East Coast. Imagine perfect service and a menu that uses the best ingredients of the season, with gentle touches and deep flavours.
Moving to California, Benu in San Francisco mixes korean and Asian flavours, made perfectly with new cooking styles. Chef Corey Lee makes familiar and new dishes.
Also, in San Francisco, Quince focuses on California ingredients, showing how fresh and good they are in beautifully made dishes.
In Yountville, California, The French laundry, another one of Thomas Keller’s famous spots, continues to be a top fine dining place. Classic french cooking meets california ingredients.
And back in New York City, Eleven Madison Park used to have 3 stars. It was known for using ingredients from New York and serving food that looked like art. While it recently changed to a plant based menu, its still famous for its excellence.
Learning about this amazing food spots, even from far away, really inspires me. They show how hard chefs and their teams work to create something truly special.
